Welcome to the "Florida State University Combined Program in Counseling Psychology and School Psychology Alumni website." We are very excited about the opportunities this tool will allow our alumni. The purpose of this website is to provide our alumni with a format through which they can interact and communicate, providing news and information that will benefit (hopefully!) many of our Program's alumni. This outlet is designed for both professional and social exchanges in order to facilitate and continue our alumni's growth and development. We hope you enjoy and benefit from this website. Furthermore, we hope you will provide your thoughts and ideas regarding how this site can best serve our constituent alumni.

As this is a new website, we anticipate it evolving as the needs and interests of our alumni become evident. Initially, as you will note under "Quick links" on the right hand side of this page, we have provided users an easy way to access information regarding a number of areas. The "Alumni listserve" link will facilitate your accessing this communication tool. "Alumni news" will connect you to stories that your fellow alumni have submitted regarding current events in their lives, including personal and professional information (e.g., pictures, stories, personal or professional websites). The "Alumni database" allows you to enroll in our alumni database thereby facilitating your ability to search for and stay in touch with former FSU colleagues socially and via professional networking. This latter link also allows the Program some assistance in meeting its responsibilities in areas such as APA accreditation requirements, which benefits us all. Future links could include "Program events," or "COE updates," as the FSU College of Education's building is renovated.

We hope you find this new tool an asset in your professional and personal lives. We believe that this site has great potential which can only be enhanced with your ideas, suggestions, and participation. Please share your thoughts with Mike Johnson (2006) via email at mbj.phd@gmail.com. Mike will be taking the initial lead for his fellow alumni regarding this website. We know he will appreciate your help in the first couple of years that this site is in operation as it is essentially a living instrument. Thank you in advance for your insights and we look forward to hearing from every one of you, as it is truly a thrill to learn about and celebrate the accomplishments of our Program's alumni.
