Faculty

  • Policies for the CRC Reserve Materials

Faculty may place any print materials on reserve for one semester only. At the end of each semester, faculty members are strongly encouraged to remove their materials for safe keeping due to the lack of space and storage areas in the CRC.

To place materials on reserve for one semester, the CRC Reserve Materials Request Form must be filled out with the required information. Copies of the form are available at the front desk in the CRC. Copyright clearance information must also be included on a separate page.

All materials will be filed by the professor's last name, course number, and photocopy file number or assigned book number. CRC staff will assist in filing the Request Form, if needed.

Faculty members are advised to announce to their classes that students are required to present their photo identification card such as a driver's license in order to check out materials and photocopy them. The photocopiers accept only FSU Cards and will not take coins. Each copy costs 8 cents. Materials can be checked out overnight by students if the professor so desires and he/she marks the CRC Reserve Materials Request Form appropriately.

  • Scheduling Procedures for Exams in the CRC

If you would like to have the CRC host your exams, please let us know in advance the day and time that it is scheduled. This allows us to prepare signs announcing the exam. The CRC staff will be happy to collect the exams after the students finish and place them in a marked envelope for the professor to pick up at his/her convenience.
