1st Annual Research in Education Conference Information

The purpose of CORE committee is to raise and address issues related to research and grant possibilities within the College, and to facilitate the collaboration within and across departments, colleges and schools in order to promote research initiatives. This committee will work with the Associate Dean of Research to make known to faculty the research initiatives and grant opportunities within the college that may be of interest to faculty in the college. It will arrange for and facilitate the meetings of interdisciplinary groups of faculty members to pursue such research and grant opportunities. Current CORE members (and their emails) are:

CORE is planning the 1st Annual COE Research in Education Conference for Fall 2007. In this conference we are asking that faculty and graduate students present research presentations they have made in the past year so that we get to know better our own research. We have some options we would like faculty input on:

Would you be more likely to participate if we had a reknown educational research speaker or should we focus on the talent we have here in the COE?
