Dr. Menchetti coordinates the special education teacher education program and specializes in the transition of students with disabilities from school to adult life in the community. Dr. Menchetti's research interests include the use of person-centered planning for career assessment, supported employment, and the community inclusion of individuals with severe disabilities. Dr. Menchetti has received and directed federal grants to prepare personnel to work effectively with individuals with disabilities as well as grants to demonstrate best practices in supported employment and transition systems change.
