Welcome to the Department of Childhood Education, Reading and Disability Services at the Florida State University! Our programs prepare students for careers in teaching, research and service in universities, public and private schools, government, educational agencies, and other human service professions. Up-to-date programs prepare graduates for the challenges of the twenty first century. The program of study is tailored to complement each student's experience so that the individual may realize current educational needs and achieve desired professional goals. Faculty provide expertise and experiences to assist students attain their degree and career objectives. We also have strong active programs on the Panama City Campus.
