FSU Student Chapter of the National Science Teachers' Association

Members of the FSU Student Chapter of the National Science Teachers' Association at the national convention in Dallas, Texas with Harry and Rosemary Wong.

A FSU student chapter of the National Science Teachers' Association has been formed at FSU. Membership is open to both undergraduate and graduate students. Members of the local chapter receive a one year's complimentary membership in the national organization, along with their choice of one of the NSTA journals. Any student who is interested in becoming a member can request information from the email address: fsuNSTA@netscape.net

The National NSTA convention for 2007 was held in St. Louis during March last year, and several members of our chapter attended. This year the convention will be held in Boston again in March 27-30, and we hope again to have a good number of chapter members and alumni attending.

If you are a student in science education, graduate or undergraduate, you should join the local NSTA chapter!

The President for 2006-07 is Darren Fleischer.
