Graduate Academic Support and Advising

Academic Support within the College of Education serves two unique functions. The first is to maintain accurate records for each student enrolled in the programs of the College. This includes but is not limited to programs of study, applications to the college, and graduation. Located below are printable copies of forms students will need to fulfill the requirements of their programs. Also included are deadlines for these materials to be returned to the Office of Academic Services. These dates are guidelines for returning these items. Please contact Academic Services for more information regarding each semester's specific deadlines.

The second function of the COE Academic Support Services is to maintain and report accurate data as requested by external certification and regulatory agencies regarding the College of Education. They also provide information for our inclusion in renowned media reports like the U.S. News and World Reports issue on colleges and universities.

I want to change my major to education. What do I have to do? -- If you have completed your Liberal Studies program and wish to be an education major, you should visit the department in the area of your interests and find out what the department's admission requirements are. Some programs limit the number of students due to the large number of applicants. It is strongly advised that you do this as early as possible within the semester and or year. However, if you have NOT completed your Liberal Studies program, you should contact the Office of Academic Services, 108 Stone Bldg. to seek advisement.
