Dr. Ryan Rodenberg
Ryan Rodenberg is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sport Management at The Florida State University. His research focuses primarily on sports law analytics. Most recently his research has involved the development of a legal framework and statistical screening device to detect/prevent gambling related corruption and referee bias. His work has been published in a number of refereed and law review journals.
In his position as an assistant professor, Dr. Rodenberg teaches Sport Law. Prior to entering academia, he served as Associate General Counsel at the sports marketing firm Octagon in its Washington, D.C. headquarters from 2003 to 2007. He also worked at the ATP World Tour and Nike.
Dr. Rodenberg earned his J.D. from the University of Washington in 2000 and his Ph.D. from Indiana University in 2009.
