Fifth Annual M. Dianne Murphy Lecture
Richard Lapchick, founder and director of the Institute of Diversity and Ethics in Sport at the University of Central Florida, was the invited speaker at the fifth annual M. Dianne Murphy Distinguished Lecture. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, is hosted by The Florida State University Program in Sport Management.
The M. Dianne Murphy lecture series allows Florida State’s sport management faculty to invite a speaker to interact with students, faculty, administrators and community members on the role of minority and women administrators in college and university athletics and recreation programs. The establishment of the lecture series was made possible by a gift to the Florida State University College of Education by M. Dianne Murphy, the director of athletics at Columbia University in New York. More Information
